This is a very common question and it’s the key to the success you wish to have with your strength training program. How many reps you do can vary for muscles used, frequency of training and your recovery from other exercises you may or may not have given yourself in between sessions. The lower body can and must perform more reps as proven by emg (muscle testing). Good form is also key as it’s not only just about the number of reps but how many are performed correctly and with good range of motion.
