blood-tonya-3.jpg

What if you could do something good for health and save lives at the same time? Count me in as I like being effective with my time and resources. Every day, about 44,000 units of blood are used to save lives across the United States. This blood is vital for cancer patients, organ transplant recipients, and victims of accidents. Although 38 percent of the U.S. population is eligible to donate blood, less than 10 percent does so each year. Studies reveal many possible benefits of regular blood donation.

Not sure how YOU like to give back. Personally, I only have so much energy to go around for workouts 6 days a week, healthy nutrition and numerous self-care habits, be involved in my kids life and tote them to different life enriching activities and doctors appointments, household activities, be a good spouse and run a business. I am so appreciative of the many people that volunteer their time and efforts for different organizations, it is a gift of service. This said, I would rather give blood than spend more of my energies volunteering and it makes me feel good that I might be saving 3 lives. Donating blood, especially on a regular basis, can be similar to volunteer work. You give of your time (and your literal blood) to help strangers in need.

An average adult has between 9 and 12 pints of blood in their bodyThe volume in a person’s body will vary according to their size and other factors, but the average quantities are as follows: An average-sized woman has about 9 pints. An average-sized man has about 12 pints.

How much do the blood donor
centers draw
from you?

1 Pint

Enjoy these benefits from giving blood:

  • Prior to the blood draw it’s like getting a mini-physical in which someone will check your pulse, blood pressure, body temperature, hemoglobin (iron count) and more. You might even find out your iron levels are too low and you need a supplement. I don’t eat meat and I was anemic during pregnancies so I always take an iron supplement.
  • Giving blood can reduce harmful iron stores – most people don’t even know they have Hemochromatosis which is a disease that causes iron overload. This can develop early in life or at age 40 or 50.  Too much iron can be damaging to blood vessels, and a regular decrease of iron-rich blood and subsequent replenishment due to blood donation can lead to a more beneficial lower iron level. I know 2 clients that routinely have to give blood aka: blood letting.
  • Phlebotomy (the process of drawing blood) was found to be an iron-reduction method that is associated with lower cancer risk and mortality.
  • Donating blood can help your liver stay healthy
  • Giving blood can be good for your mental state as it takes you out of the ME..ME..ME mindset and helps you focus on what you can do to help others. Volunteering has positive effects on happiness.
  • Find out what your blood type is so can try one of my favorite types of diet. The Blood Type Diet is very intuitive and can make a lot of sense or radically change some of your nutrition habits to help you lose weight, have more energy, sleep better or have less digestive issues.

So maybe you are one of those peeps that need to be motivated by fear or the away from something bad to take action.

Here’s What You Want to Avoid!

According to the American Journal of Epidemiology, 88% of blood donors are less likely to suffer a heart attack. With heart attacks to hold the record for most deaths in the US why not try and edge that one down on your list. Numbers aren’t out yet on if Coronavirus is going to be atop of this list at least for 2020. What we do know is that 80% of corona cases don’t become serious, it’s the underlying health causes that add a compound ill health risk and effect.

If you don’t give blood then you may not be giving your body that extra help with blood flow, giving it a lower viscosity (resistance) and thus making it less damaging to blood vessels.

Did you know that men tend to store more iron in their body than women?

On a lighter note, I remember my mother giving blood often when I was a kid. She said they loved seeing her and she felt appreciated for giving. If we don’t hear others encouraging us to give blood then most people simply won’t do it or think that someone else will. Consider this post a means of highly encouraging you to make an appointment to give blood. Side note…I was motivated by the Taco Tuesday T-Shirt email. They give gift cards too sometimes and you get points for every donation you give. 800 points each time which you can redeem for prizes or gift cards. Different collectors have different age requirements. South Carolina minimum is age 16 and the upper age limit in some countries is age 65.

The average adult has approximately 10 pints, or 8% of body weight, and it takes a number of weeks to replenish those stores (this is why donors must wait 8 weeks between donations).

Tips  & prior to giving!

  • hydrate with water and or electrolytes (I pop a nunn electrolyte tab in some water)
  • Fuel up before you go & afterwards! Yesterday there was a woman that said she didn’t eat before giving and they pulled out a cold pack for her neck/chest, plugged in a fan and gave her sodium laced crackers and a sugary drink. With my diet, there’s no way I’m gonna eat crappy processed peanut butter crackers and a soda. Although last time I was served some veggie straws (gluten and dairy free…wohoo!). I usually time it to eat a salted brown rice cake with sunflower nut or cashew nut butter an hour before giving and then have an Aloha protein bar afterwards and water.
  • do your exercise several hours prior to donating
  • bring a jacket or long pants. they may or may not have warm blankets for you.
  • you might feel tired for 2 days post donation.
  • no strenuous activity immediately following – take it easy for 2 days (I lifted and ran on day 2 but easier effort)
  • you might feel lightheaded the day of and for up to 48 hours

I’ll leave you with this a a few pics from yesterday @thebloodconnection in Greenville, SC.

What’s not pictured is the yelp I let out when I get stuck with needles. I mean who loves them right, unless your a junkie and at that point you have bigger problems.

Bloodletting is one of the humanity’s oldest medical practices, dating back thousands of years and linked to many ancient cultures, including the Mayans, Aztecs, Egyptians and Mesopotamians. The typical purpose was to cure a person suffering from some kind of infirmity (leprosy, plague, pneumonia, stroke, inflammation, herpes, acne – pretty much anything). The patient was pierced or cut and then drained of several ounces of blood until they fainted.”  ~Medtech.edu~

I didn’t know until my son (age 15) pointed out that the bag that your blood goes in is slowing swinging back and forth during the process. Cool, it keeps it from clotting. They keep it out of sight, thank goodness as I always look away when they stick me.

We wanted to bring to your attention if you are to the point where you are having unexplained headaches, fatigue, not sleeping well and maybe a host of other issues then maybe you should look to how your nutrition is serving and nourishing your body.

One of my clients is suffering from this now and has turned to Metagenics and tips from me regarding nutrition along with her already good diet and an iron supplement prescribed by her physician. If we all can take a look at our stress levels and what chronic repressed stress can do to the adrenals and the digestive system as a way of fighting back then we can understand and help fix the issue.

Many of us seem to just press on and on and on denying our body the ability to heal itself until it screams at us forcing us to fix it with the right supplements, nutrients, massage, acupuncture, meditation, yoga, exercise or other extreme self care opportunities. This is why having good self care habits in place already can make it easier to shift into extreme self care when needed.

Remember your gut is your second brain and when you are overstressed or out of balance digestion and absorption can be comprised. Bloating, headaches and malnutrition can occur leaving you feeling out of balanced and maybe with outer issues not mentioned. Metagenics supplement Ultra GI Replenish is a product with great reviews to help with digestive issues even if you don’t think you have them.

UltraGI Replenish® is a medical food formulated to provide specialized macro-and micronutrient support for patients challenged by compromised gut function with digestive disorders including malabsorption. It is designed to complement an eating plan that excludes common food allergens and supports healthy gut function.

It’s a dairy free formula and remember keep in mind that it takes time and patience to heal the body that may have been stressed for a long time even if the source of stress has passed.

When our trainers are trying to get the most out of our clients investment in their health we often put a program together that may have combo movements. This helps to respect both the clients time and can make the plan more efficient. Regardless of if we are onsite at Energy Fitness studio in Downtown Memphis or Virtually Personal Training our clients via Zoom these moves still prove to be challenging and effective.

Try this up up down down plank with a reverse fly for shoulders/posture. Note that my feet are wide to provide a good base of support. Depending on your strength and flexibility in your core and hips you may have to do the movement on your knees. If you do the full plank (on your toes) try to do a few reverse fly movements without holding weight as some of you may need to start with this anyway. Look down or video yourself doing it and see how much your hips are rotating. You want to try your best to keep your hip bones level to the floor.

Notice in the video below that I have a slight turn to the right with my right hip when lifting my right arm to the same side. This is much more pronounced when I train clients as I often have to remind them to (pay attention) and do this trick….When lifting the right arm rotate the right hip toward the left hip. You might feel like this is an exaggerated move but likely it will be more on the path to being performed correctly.

Try this combo move for 10-12 reps on each side for 2 or three sets. Try a downward dog or pigeon pose stretch for 30 seconds before moving on to the other side if you need a break or just catch your breathe for 20 seconds.

If you are ready to let us be your personal or nutrition coach, just give us a ring, text or email today.

You can get an onsite or virtual assessment (via zoom) with Tonya so we can access the quality of your body’s movement and discuss your goals. We have streamlined our custom take out fitness programs in a way our clients really like and come back for more. How? We assess them, ask what equipment is available if any, write program for them, send via email or text along with a short 5-10 minute video demonstration of the 2 programs. Interested in this? The long awaited video I have been promising our female clients, friends, health nuts and athletes for a while is finally here. Mae, Licensed Massage Therapist and I teamed up to bring this educational 10 minute do it yourself video.

Energy Fitness has been helping clients since 2002 with our personal training and nutrition coaching and with our healing arts/massage services since 2015.

For many years I felt like other than exercise and nutrition coaching that that stubborn cellulite or dimple appearance on our clients just wouldn’t budge. There are certain supplements and massage therapy treatments that can help but I mean we really wanted to find something that made a huge difference and didn’t take forever to see results. Why didn’t I know about this years ago? They have been doing this type of treatment in Brazil for years.

Take a look at the video and listen to the introduction so you can get all the important information so you can start getting these results yourself. Listen to the part about who can and who should not do this type of therapy.

Mae mentions a Cellulite Oil Recipe in the video. It’s super easy, just order the ingredients online or purchase at a health food store. Click here to get the recipe via PDF.

At Energy Fitness personal training studio not only do we do personal training and massage therapy we also do nutrition coaching, meal plans and supplement recommendations. In early March when I went to pick up a marketing banner at The Mail Center in Memphis, the owner Mark asked me what supplements I would recommend for this virus going around as one of his customers said Selenium. At the time didn’t have a quick answer for him as someones supplement recommendations has many factors to consider.

Since we are all so different in our nutritional lifestyles, activity level, genetics and stress levels the recommendation we make for supplements is customized after having a conversation with you on all these factors.

What does selenium do?

Selenium is an essential mineral, meaning it must be obtained through your diet. Your body relies on selenium, an important mineral, for many of its basic functions, from reproduction to fighting infection. It’s only needed in small amounts but plays a major role in important processes in your body, including your metabolism and thyroid function.

The amount of selenium in different foods depends on the amount of selenium in the soil where the food was grown. Rain, evaporation, pesticides, and pH levels can all affect selenium levels in soil. That makes selenium deficiency more common in certain parts of the world, though it’s relatively rare in the United States. As you already know the United States is the perfect environment to create obesity and heart disease with the SAD diet (Standard American Diet) that includes too many processed foods and sugar.

Selenium acts as an antioxidant, may reduce risk of certain cancers, may prevent heart disease and mental decline, boost your immune system, reduce asthma symptoms,

Regardless of where you live, certain factors can make it harder for your body to absorb selenium. For example, you may have difficulty absorbing selenium if you are receiving dialysis, living with HIV, have a gastrointestinal condition such as Crohn’s disease, Graves disease or hypothyroidism.

An international team of researchers, led by Professor Margaret Rayman at the University of Surrey, has identified a link between the COVID-19 cure rate and regional selenium status in China.Publishing their findings in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition, researchers using data (up to 18 February), investigated possible links between selenium levels in the body and cure or death rates of those with the COVID-19 virus in China. Here’s a link to that Science Daily article.

How much selenium do I need daily?

Age Recommended daily amount of selenium
Over 14 years 55 mcg
9 to 13 years 40 mcg
4 to 8 years 30 mcg
7 months to 3 years 20 mcg
Birth to 6 months 15 mcg

Foods that contain selenium
How many of these do you or will you add to your diet?

Brazil Nuts – 1 oz/6-8 nuts = 544 mcg (great but not great if you are trying to reduce your fat and calorie intake)
Fish – yellowfin tuna – 3 oz = 92 mcg and sardines, oysters, clams, halibut, shrimp, salmon, and crab, which contain amounts between 40 and 65 mcg.
Ham – 3 oz = 42 mcg (be prepared to pay more for pork as prices will likely go up due to covid complications of processing and likely culling of almost 1.5 million pigs sadly)
Beef / Chicken / Turkey / 20-30 mcg per serving
Brown Rice – 1 cup = 19 mcg of selenium
1 Hard Boiled egg = 20 mcg
Sunflower seeds – 1/4 cup = 19 mcg
Mushrooms- 100 grams = 12 mcg
Oatmeal- 1 cup = 13 mcg
Frozen cooked spinach–  1 cup = 11 mcg
Milk & Yogurt – 1 cup = 8 mcg
Lentils – 1 cup = 6 mcg

Because many of us get into habits and eat the same foods because they are easy or because you just get stuck in a “I don’t know what else to eat!” rut we may not be getting enough variety in our diet causing vitamin or mineral imbalances. If you aren’t getting enough selenium in your diet or other nutrients that your body may need then consider either a source supplement or a generalized multi-vitamin or multi-mineral supplement. Supplement simply means giving your body what it needs from an outside source. Keep in mind that for fat soluble vitamins like vitamins A,D,E and K these should be taken with a little bit of fat to help increase their potential for good in your body.

You may wish to consider the following brands for your selenium or multi-vitamin/mineral needs:

M’Lis:This is the same company we use for our detox body wraps and some clients have used for detox program.

Metagenics: We have a practitioner as a sponsor to have these amazing science based products.

M’Lis Vital – Block out the ickies and bust up the yucks. Vitamin C, astaxanthin, ginkgo biloba and a handful of other synergizing herbs provide your skin and body with an outside defense from germs that may get you feeling (and looking) down.

When you’re on the M’Lis website check out their supplement called daily for a multi.

Metagenics – E-400 Selenium™ – provides the essential trace mineral selenium and natural-source vitamin E, an antioxidant that helps protect tissues from damage caused by free radicals. Metagenics has a great multi called Phytomulti with or without iron, while you are on the site, check it out.

Our packages at Energy Fitness include meal plans so the clients can have the best chance at nutritional freedom and education about meals that are healthy along with teaching meal timing. We have over 25 meal plans and choose a few for each client based on their habits, goals and food choices. We do realize that there are different levels of commitment for eating healthy and sometimes convenience becomes a factor. So many times in our society the quick foods become the whole meal plan instead of just a rare occasion. Ask yourself why you eat healthy or wish for the desire to want to eat healthy. Healthy skin, better sleep, less brain fog, shed pounds, have more energy and better overall feeling of well being should top your list. If those aren’t your motivation then maybe you can start with having those as mantras when you get off the plan or don’t even have a plan.

This post is just to give you a few options and get your brain working to find other alternatives to junk food or super high calorie fast food. I mean you really aren’t any busier than anyone else and we have lots of executive, successful clients and busy working moms that find the time for eat healthy.

When travelling with the family out of town when pressed for time we pop in a grocery stores and just grab something healthy like tuna pack, salad, and some chopped veggies or gluten free crackers. Sometimes there’s a salad bar or If they have sushi I might grab that if no added sugars. I am an ingredient detective and you should be too. You should be able to pronounce the foods and chemicals that you put in your mouth and body.

There are different levels of fast food. There’s the drive through option, Then there are options like food Bars or walk up service type of service menus as well as grocery store pop ins.

Arby’s: Roast Turkey Farmhouse Salad, Total Calories: 240, Total Fat: 13 grams

Chick-Fil-A: Grilled Chicken Cool Wrap,Total Calories: 350, Total Fat: 13 grams

Chipotle: Burrito Bowl,Total Calories: 330,Total Fat: 8 grams

Dunkin’ Donuts: Wake-Up Wrap,Total Calories: 190, Total Fat: 11 grams

Hardee’s: Low Carb Charbroiled BBQ Chicken Sandwich,Total Calories: 190, Total Fat: 4 grams
Moe’s Southwest Grill: Burrito Bowl, Total Calories: 357, Total Fat: 17 grams

Wendy’s: Apple Pecan Chicken Salad, Total Calories: 340, Total Fat: 17 grams

So that’s 7 fast food now I’ll share my fast food ideas:

bumble and bumble tuna and crackers or chicken and crackers (great for kids) pair with side salad or cherry tomatoes and spinach leaves or sweet baby peppers.

salad to go kits from grocery store (i forego the dressing and eat it bare unless there are lemon wedges handy).

pack my own to go lunch and snacks of salad, veggies and a protein like veggie patty, boiled egg(s), tuna salad

Snacks like aloha bars, vega bars, rice cake and nut butter individual packets (they come in almond, watermelon seed, cashews, sunflower and peanuts in which I never eat peanuts due to mold and cancer) are great to keep handy. I buy cliff, power crunch and zbar’s for the kids. Protein shakes are a great go to meal or snack when no other options.

HAPPY & HEALTHY EATING TO YOU!

January 17, 2020

Do you ever feel like your energy is just stuck? Seem like you’re in a rut and can’t seem to find your way out? Ever consider that maybe it’s not just the season or your mundane routine but that you may have stagnant energy or taken on the negative forces or energy from a space, place or individual(s).

The past few years since I have been more open and present to my intuition. I have always had but squashed it. I have become very open to healing the body using holistic practices that can help bring the body into whole self-alignment and have been slowly sharing this knowledge with others. After being introduced to energy work from Mae our LMT ,ngetting certified in Reiki combined with my spiritual upbringing and studying other religions I feel calmer and able to deal with stress much easier. Of course having young kids may have a wearing down effect as well….lol and just getting older and wiser is helpful also.

Some of you may think this post is hokey and maybe I’m oversharing a bit but so what I’m gonna be me and pass on my knowledge so you can keep your aura clean as well so you can be ever present and more in tune with your body’s needs to reach optimal health and wellness.

When I first met Mae our massage therapist she had mentioned I had so much fire as part of my aura and that she could feel when she would massage me that I just wanted her to just rub out the tight areas and stop touching me. I worked on this between mindfulness, meditation, Chakra therapy with food and colors and just learning to keep my bubble of protection around me from being penetrated with the negativity of others. What’s my energy is mine and what’s yours is yours!

What is aura you ask? It’s the distinctive atmosphere or quality that seems to surround and be generated by a person, thing, or place. You aura has colors as well and these have meaning. As children mature and their thinking processes and personalities become more defined, they add colors to their auras. Most adults have an aura about 2 feet (60 cm) wide.

Here’s 7 Ways to Clean Your Aura

Image result for free picture of human aura

  1. Take a Walk in The Rain or Take a Bath – There’s nothing like running water and it’s healing properties to rinse away all the stress and troubles flowing out of your mind and body either back to mother earth or down the drain. This is my favorite and so much so that I have now told my husband that when we book hotel rooms when traveling I must have a bath as a shower isn’t the same as my hot soaks!
  2. Sweep or Comb Your Aura – I use a short hand towel which is especially helpful for the back of your body not easy to get with your hands alone. Combing your aura with open fingers and blowing the energy back to mother earth or whatever force you believe can dissolve it.
  3. Mental Cleansing – Breathing and visualization: sit in a comfortable position for 5-15 minutes and focus in a distraction free environment. Take long cleansing breaths and with each breath imagine all the negative energy or thoughts leaving your body.
  4. Sun – Wind – Play – This is pretty much eco-therapy aka nature therapy and research proves outside time really is healing. We need more parents to tell kids to go outside and play these days. Just get out there and move with gentle exercise, yard or garden work or just enjoying nature.
  5. Feather Whisk – cleanse your aura are feathers, particularly owl or turkey feathers. Begin at your feet and work upwards, much like a bird would fly from the ground to the top of a tree. Ask a friend to assist by sweeping your backside or any areas around your physical being that you cannot reach easily.
  6. Smudge – Herbs that are helpful to use for aura cleansing can include sage or lavender. Bundles are available of sage to burn and smell the incense. Just open a window or door and let the bad energies flow out. Lavender is available in essential oil and can be added to lotions or sprayed on.
  7. Create a bubble of protection – now that you have cleaned your aura you must keep it that way. Work on staying away from energy vampires or negative people that always seem to keep something stirred up.Image result for bubble of protection against negative energies free images

We go in bouts at Energy Fitness teaching our personal training clients all the different ways to incorporate inversion into their life. We will often be showing one client different versions of how to go upside down and tell the benefits and another client will hear the benefits and see the exercises and want to get in on the action. Oddly enough with my 500+ pics I had to take more pics just for this post.

Just to be clear before you dismiss this upside down thing for yourself know that there are many different levels so you can start where you body speaks to you. Pictures peppered in this post to show you. Not pictured is plow pose, teeter gravity boots, yoga swing and other aerial yoga cloth props. Of course I’m sure I’m missing something like hanging off bed or couch but you have lots of ones to try. For the wall poses see if a friend or family member can grab a leg and assist you. See precautions below.

My own testimonial: I’ve been doing inversions for about a year now and have regained my 1/2 inch I lost in height most likely from 30 years of running. I’m a believer! I initially started with only 1-2 times per week for about 30 seconds and progressed to 5-6 days per week with totally 3 minutes each session with small rest breaks before going into different poses.

Inversion therapy is a great way to defy gravity and bring relief to common back and joint pains. Most people understand that inversion therapy can help your back but do not realize the benefits it can have for your joints too.

Every joint in your body feels the pressure of weight and gravity each day, and this causes natural wear and tear. While inversion therapy provides relief for this you also need to promote joint health.

Inversion therapy is a technique where you are suspended upside down to stretch the spine and relieve back pain. The theory is that by shifting the body’s gravity, pressure eases off the back while also providing traction for the spine.

For these reasons, inversion therapy may be beneficial for people with:

  • chronic lower back pain (great for runners after pounding and jostling from a few or many miles sitting, and too much bending of the spine)
  • poor circulation
  • sciatica
  • scoliosis

In theory, inversion exercises should help the spine by:

  • creating more protective fluid around spinal discs
  • removing waste from the spine
  • decreasing inflammation
  • increasing blood circulation through surrounding muscles
  • assist the lymphatic system drain toxins from the body

Other factors that may cause complications include:

  • retinal detachment
  • pregnancy
  • obesity
  • use of blood clotting medications

It takes time to adjust to inversion therapy. It’s best to start off in shorter increments (slowly building from one-minute sets to three) to get used to the process. This can help reduce side effects such as dizziness or muscle strain. Be careful not to overdo it.

Too nervous or scared to hand upside down without help? Try an inversion table.

Adventurous? Find a park or get some anti-gravity boots

Why do the same cardio over and over again? So boring! When clients at Energy Fitness personal training studio hire us as their personal trainer and Accountability Coach we send them a 7 minute video entitled Cardio Express. The video shows many different types of cardio and how to achieve the HIT training (high intensity training) even without equipment. Short bursts of cardio can stimulate the human growth hormone and mimics strength training for the results it can achieve. Just think about the difference of muscle mass between long distance runners versus Olympic divers, gymnasts, sprinters and weight lifters to mention a few.

Jumping rope is great cardio as well as a great cross training option. This post aims to teach you 4 variations of jumping rope. Let’s first chat about making it more efficient with a jump rope that fits you well. Picking the right type of rope is personal preference as there are different handles as well as material for the rope itself. For true beginners or those that haven’t jumped rope for many years you may wish to get a beaded rope that is easily adjustable for height by simply taking a few plastic links off.

To figure out what length of jump rope you need grab a measuring tape. Standing and with both feet together measure from the bottom of one armpit down to the floor, under the feet and up to the other armpit. In easier terms, when you get your rope and stand on it in the middle and grasp both handle’s they should be just under your armpits for a proper fit.

Here are few different types of ropes to choose from. Online shopping is abundant in choices. My favorite is the black one with tiny weights in the handles and a plastic rope.

When you start jumping you will notice that your arms/shoulders may burn a little as it’s a great bonus to help work the shoulders as well. Consider stretching not only your calves but also your shoulders and biceps post workout. Notice I included a picture of a clever device to stretch your calves as you will want to lengthen your calf muscles post jumping or they might seize up on you or when you are really sore the next day be reminded that you tortured them. Of course you can just stretch your calves with downward facing dog, hanging heels of step or a staggered calf stretch or any of  the pics shown of stretches below. The blue moon as I call it can help prevent or decrease plantar fasciitis pain and give you a more intense stretch than you can get without it. One thing to consider is that many of our clients complain of knee pain and this is often from tight calves, so rub them, stretch them or cup them if you must just keep them well taken care of.

How many reps of jumping rope should I do?

Beginners 100-300

Intermediate 500-700

Advanced and worked up to: 100-2000+

Try timing how long it takes you when you first start to jump 100 reps and write it down. As you get better and get more cardio you can do more without feeling like you are going to die or cramp up.

You can even mix it into your weight training workouts or a run. Last week I wanted to mix it up and enjoy the sun on my face so after each mile I jumped 500 reps for a total of 3.5 miles and 1500 jumps ropes.

Jumping rope for runners is especially great as it can help keep your hips from locking up from the dreadful same movement pattern that running enforces and help with your leg turnover. It can help keep the swagger in your hips ladies and gents!

Here’s some stretches as mentioned above:
