6 Standing Stretches-How Many Can You Do Well?

Before we swing for the greens Mark and I take a moment to prep our bodies the smart way—with standing stretches using the golf cart for support. Because let’s face it: flexibility isn’t just for yogis. It’s for anyone who wants to feel good, move better, and maybe get a leg up (literally) on the competition.
📸 In this blog, you’ll see six standing stretches—easy to do almost anywhere. Aim to hold each stretch for 30–60 seconds, or less if you’re someone who stretches regularly and consistently. The goal isn’t perfection, it’s progress and presence.
💡 Pro Tips While You Stretch:
-
Unlock those knees—don’t lock ‘em out like you’re in bootcamp.
-
Tuck or retract your chin—no chicken neck.
-
Breathe—in through the nose, out through the mouth. You know the drill.
Mark may have beat me by 5 strokes (okay, okay… I may have tripped on one hole 🙄). And yes, we both took a couple of mulligans and may or may not have donated balls to the water hazards. But hey—stretching gave me the edge I almost needed.

Because strong and limber beats stiff and sore—on and off the course, courts or Life!
