Shoulder Raises Thumbs Down & Stabilized With Leg
Need a good shoulder exercise to do for good shoulder function or reduce pain and increase better posture?
Try this thumbs down one as you are only as strong as your weakest link. I tried before without stabilizing my lower half and realized that my back was arching and I was throwing the weight up. It’s not just about doing the movements when we workout but executing the movements with correct form and optimal movement for where you are now and where you want to go.
You might be to start with just your body weight and do 1-3 sets of 20 reps then move up as you feel stronger or try it and if form is ugly go back down in weight. I say that as some days you may not feel strong but actually are. After I did this video, about 2 days later I finally had my rib pop back in that was causing some of the shoulder pain. Probably popped out from pushing and tugging all that rubber flooring around and moving the heavy treadmills.
