What’s Better..Apple Cider Vinegar or Baking Soda?
What’s your remedy for better health that’s natural? Do you lean more in the direction or apple cider vinegar or baking soda? This is where being intuitive with your body and learning your body’s hints and cues can give you a leg up on better health.
I run into people all the time that swear on the benefits or apple cider vinegar.
Some studies show that apple cider vinegar may protect against viruses and bacteria, improve blood sugar levels, and help you lose weight. Older studies also suggest that apple cider vinegar may reduce feelings of hunger which may be the catalyst to help people lose body fat, although recent research to support these findings is limited.
Meanwhile, baking soda may strengthen your teeth, improve exercise performance, and perhaps even protect you from certain diseases. Baking soda supplements may also help slow the progression of chronic kidney disease, as well as the growth of cancerous cells. However, more research is needed before strong conclusions can be made.
This was found on one website whilst doing a little recon for this post. I highly disagree with the second sentence below. Sugar, meat and alcohol make your body more acidic. Don’t believe me, purchase some pH strips and do a little test for yourself pre and post eating or drinking these types of foods. One of my secrets after an occasional sugar binge is that I will drink 1 teaspoon of baking soda to 4 ounces of water to help bring me back to an alkaline environment in the gut. If I have been especially bad then I will about an hour after drinking that natural cure then I will have some lemon probiotic tea and then before bed to keep the blood sugar even more in check and keep that false carb hunger away I will drink some psyllium fiber mixed with electrolytes.

Yet, this idea ignores the fact that your body has tightly regulated processes in place to control its pH levels, and that what you eat or drink has very little effect on how acidic or alkaline your body is.”
As you attend holiday parties this season, birthday parties or any time of year that there is lots of unhealthy food and drink to ingest you may want to try a few of these natural remedies to counter possible ill effects and get back on the health wagon. I will tell you that personally the baking soda is a much better solution for my body and my teeth. My sister likes the vinegar. She can have it. Listen to your own body.
